The Rock Band 3 Fender Squier will be available on March 1, 2011 and sell for $279.99.
Fret Sensors
The Squier by Fender Stratocaster Guitar and Controller features sensors located in each fret on the fingerboard, allowing direct on-screen feedback indicating the player’s finger position when using the instrument as a Rock Band 3 controller and in the game’s guitar-training tutorials. In combination with the custom-designed pickup, this cutting-edge technology actually shows players when they’re hitting correct and incorrect notes when learning guitar parts, thus aiding in their development and improvement as real guitarists.
Rock Band 3 PRO Mode Compatibility
The Squier by Fender Stratocaster Guitar and Controller is only compatible with Rock Bandâ„¢ 3 and can only be use din the game’s Pro mode for playing guitar parts. It cannot be used in Rock Band 3 Standard mode; nor is it compatible with Rock Band, Rock Band 2, the Beatles: Rock Band, Green Day: Rock Band or Lego Rock Band.
MIDI Pro Adapter
Connect the Squier by Fender Stratocaster Guitar and Controller to Rock Band 3 with the required Mad Catz MIDI PRO Adaptor (sold separately, compatible with the Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360, and the Sony PlayStation 3).
