JamVOX gives guitarists instant access to dozens of legendary amps and effects all in one easy to use “drag and drop” software interface. Revolutionary Guitar XTracktion (GXT) technology lets you remove the guitar part of your favorite song with the push of a button. Best of all, you can then take the lead yourself with instant rock star tone! Alternatively, you can extract or isolate the guitar part, slow down the tempo, and practice any style of music without changing the pitch. JamVOX includes authentic software models, or recreations, of 19 famous guitar amps and 54 vintage and modern effects, so you’ll be able to perfectly reproduce the sounds of your favorite guitarists. It also comes with a dedicated full-range USB monitor speaker, so there’s no need for complex wiring or any specialized knowledge of computer music. A two-CD 28-song bundle of guitar play-along tracks of famous songs, courtesy of Hal Leonard Corporation, is also included.

MXR ZW-44 Zakk Wylde Overdrive Pedal demo

via ToneFactor:

The MXR ZW-44 Wylde Overdrive Pedal performs like Zakk. Whether on his groundbreaking work with Ozzy Osbourne or with his own Black Label Society, Zakk Wylde’s guitar playing is loud, tough, and relentless. Zakk’s take-no-prisoners attitude extends to his quest for tone, too. His signature ZW-44 overdrive pedal will turn your clean amp into a heavy, chunky, crunch machine. Or, use it like Zakk does and kick it in front of a dirty amp for a screaming, sustaining lead tone. 3 simple controls output, tone, and drive make getting up and running easy, so you can concentrate on your chops.

MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay

www.ProGuitarShop.com – The new MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay is one tasty delay echo pedal. Guitarists who have been missing the warm, thick sounds of 70’s bucket-brigade delay pedals will be delighted by the MXR Carbon Copy. The purely analog signal path preserves the warm and smooth tonal qualities and lets you get everything from short, sweet slapback echo to 600 milliseconds of cavernous, ghostly delays. The controls are quite basic. Even the most blockheaded guitar monkey should be able to figure the MXR Carbon Copy Delay out. Knobs controls are for Delay Time, Wet/Dry Mix, and Repeats. There is also a modulation button on top to add some shimmering, modulated goodness. Two internal trim pots control the width and rate of the aforementioned modulation. This is a great feature that really kicks this little echo pedal up a notch on the “lush-o-meter”. Other features of the Carbon Copy include a smart looking sparkle forest green finish, beautiful blue LED, and 9V battery or AC Adapter operation. Dig it…

This is a fully functioning, six string guitar compatible with the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, for Rock Band 3, and its new Pro Mode.

The guitar, priced at USD$279.99 will still require a MIDI adapter–at additional cost–to plug into a respective console, and will be available March 1st 2011, with pre-orders being accepted as of January 1st 2011.

The guitar, and Rock Band 3’s Pro Mode, are designed to take music gamers to the next step, if they’re willing, and finally learn how to play a real instrument.

Guitar Standard Tuning

via Wonderboy21714:

PLEASE CLICK MORE INFO AND READ THIS Standard Tuning E,B,G,D,A,e The guitar isn’t out of tune so don’t say it is. I used a tuner while making this video and I used one after the video was made. I would know if it was out of tune. Okay, don’t complain about the distortion and blame the distortion for you tuning your guitar wrong. YOU tuned your own guitar wrong. Just practice a bit more and suck it up. If you have trouble because of the distortion then just use a tuner. Not a big deal. And if you’re holding a tuner to your speaker checking my video to see if I was in tune….. Why aren’t you using your tuner on your own guitar and then you bitch at me for tuning your guitar wrong. Not my fault, not the distortions fault, and it’s not YouTube’s fault… It’s your fault. The video is marked as xREDxGUYx at the end. Don’t say this isn’t my video because it is!!! xREDxGUYx is my old youtube account which I deleted. So please don’t try it!
